In lieu of a cup day, Deep River and Opeongo U18B teams have requested a friendly post-season game. This will be held during the lunch break on the U15G Cup Day on August 11, providing an opportunity for younger referees to observe a higher division game officiated by our adult referees.

Play-off Format

Play-offs will be in a round robin format. Pools will be formed when possible.

In Cup Day games in U13 and older divisions, a team will be awarded 3 points for a win, 2 points for a shoot-out win, 1 point for a shoot-out loss, and zero points for a loss in regulation time.

There will be no ties. All games that are tied at the end of regulation time, will immediately proceed to a 3-player shoot-out (penalty kicks) by using only players who were on the field at the end of regulation time. If the teams are still tied after each team has taken three penalty kicks, FIFA sudden-death penalty kicks will be taken until a winner is declared.

The ranking of teams is based upon the total number of game points. Teams with the same number of game points will be ranked according to the following tie-breaker criteria:

1) Winner of the game between the tied teams (including a shoot-out win)
2) Most wins in regulation time
3) Most goals for in regulation time
4) Fewest goals against in regulation time
5) Fewest losses including shoot-out losses
6) Most shut-outs for in regulation time
7) Fewest shut-outs against in regulation time
8) Fewest goals against in shoot-outs
9) Most goals for in shoot-outs
10) A single toin coss performed by a tournament official

Game Sheets

Schedules are loaded into E2E. Game sheets for each game may be printed out per usual and two copies must be brought for each game. U15B teams will have six games in the round robin and U15G will have four.

Blank game sheets should be brought for any unexpected changes to the schedule. U15G should also bring blank game sheets in anticipation of participating in the final game for the cup.

Blank game sheets can be downloaded in your Team Management by selecting "Blank Game Sheet" from the drop down.
